(COVID-19 Related) Regarding the “¥100,000 special fixed benefit payment” by Japanese government.
The Japanese government will be making a one-time, fixed ¥100,000 cash payment to every resident of Japan in order to mitigate the economic loss by the COVID-19 in the country. This includes Bhutanese Nationals registered under the Basic Resident Register system as of April 27, 2020.
The local government office that you registered will mail the application to your registered address. You will be able to apply by postal mail, or apply online through “My Number Portal” if you have “My number card”.
