The Honorary Consulate-General of the Kingdom of Bhutan in Tokyo recognizes that the proper handling of personal information is a serious responsibility of a business operator handling personal information, and handles it as follow.
1. Purpose of use of personal information
Honorary Consulate-General of the Kingdom of Bhutan in Tokyo will use the personal information you enter to the extent necessary to achieve the following purposes of use.
- For inquiries about the Kingdom of Bhutan and answers to inquiries
- For information about the Kingdom of Bhutan
- For the work carried out by Honorary Consulate-General of the Kingdom of Bhutan in Tokyo
- For survey and questionnaire about Kingdom of Bhutan
- To carry out other work accompanying the above work
2. Provision of personal information to third parties
Honorary Consulate-General of the Kingdom of Bhutan in Tokyo will not disclose or provide personal information to third parties except in the following cases.
- Where the person has given consent to the provision to a third party
- In order to achieve the purpose of use described in “1. Purpose of use of personal information”, Honorary Consulate-General of the Kingdom of Bhutan in Tokyo will disclose the minimum necessary amount for performing outsourced work to our business contractors who have signed a confidentiality agreement.
- When disclosing or providing information in a format that does not identify the person
- When disclosure is required due to legal regulations or requests from judicial or administrative bodies
- Other cases based on laws and regulations.
In order to achieve the purpose of use described in “1. Purpose of use of personal information”, the personal information provided by the customer may be shared with Honorary Consulate-General of the Kingdom of Bhutan in Tokyo, Honorary Consulate of the Kingdom of Bhutan in Japan and the Government of Bhutan.

Name, address, company (school) name, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, inquiries, etc. - Scope of joint use
The Kingdom of Bhutan Government and each agency under its jurisdiction - Purpose of use

3. Management of personal information
Honorary Consulate-General of the Kingdom of Bhutan in Tokyo have a manager (secretary general) in the department that handles personal information, and strive to manage personal information appropriately.
Honorary Consulate-General of the Kingdom of Bhutan in Tokyo will also endeavor to prevent and correct unauthorized access from the outside and loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage of personal information.
4. Regarding request procedures such as disclosure of personal information
Honorary Consulate-General of the Kingdom of Bhutan in Tokyo will handle procedures related to requests for disclosure, notification of purpose of use, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, erasure, and suspension of third party provision (hereinafter referred to as disclosure) based on the Personal Information Protection Law.
